Industry packs
Goal
Apply a sector industry pack to configure modules, dimensions, custom fields, report templates, and settings — never live transactional data — without code changes.
Who it is for
industry_pack.view to browse; industry_pack.apply to Apply / Re-apply / Upgrade.
Preconditions
- Understand that apply mutates configuration (modules/fields/reports/settings). Review pack contents summary first.
Steps
- Open Administration → Organization → Industry packs.
- Review each pack’s code, version, and configures summary (modules · dimensions · custom fields · reports).
- Apply a pack (
industry_pack.apply). If already applied at same version → Re-apply; if pack version higher → Upgrade. - Confirm modules/fields/reports after apply under Modules, Custom Fields, and Saved Reports as relevant.
Catalogue
Packs are config-only. The public signup wizard and Administration → Organization → Industry packs share this catalogue:

Skip on signup leaves industry_pack_code empty; add a pack later from this screen.
Result
Tenant configuration matches the pack snapshot version recorded under applied packs. Operational documents/stock/GL are untouched by the pack apply path.
