Complete and cancel CRM activities

Goal

Close out open activities by completing or cancelling them, or delete when appropriate.

Who it is for

Clerk with crm.manage.

Preconditions

• Activity status is Open for complete/cancel flows.

Steps — Complete

1. Open the activity from list, calendar, or related timeline.
2. Choose Complete. Status becomes Completed and completed_at is set.
3. Calendar sync is updated for types that create calendar events.

Steps — Cancel / delete

1. Cancel sets status Cancelled (keeps history).
2. Delete removes the record (clears calendar sync first). Confirm when prompted.

Result

Open due lists and stale opportunity signals improve when follow-ups are completed on time.
