Purchase quote setup

Goal

Configure tenant settings that affect purchase quotes.

Who it is for

Tenant admin / purchasing admin (purchasing.admin).

Steps

1. Enable the purchasing module for the tenant.
2. Open Trade → Purchasing setup for workflow defaults and related purchasing policies.
3. Ensure purchasable items (is_purchasable) and suppliers exist.
4. Assign roles: purchasing.view to browse, purchasing.manage to create/convert quotes.
5. Confirm document numbering for purchase quotes.

Result

New quotes inherit correct defaults and permissions.
