Edit a POS terminal

Goal

Update terminal warehouse, tenders, device policy, or deactivate a register.

Who it is for

Managers with pos.manage_terminals. Profile override needs pos.admin.configure_register.

Preconditions

• Terminal exists; understand impact on open sessions before changing cash account or warehouse.

Steps

1. Open Terminals → select the row → edit.
2. Adjust fields as on create (code uniqueness, payment methods, active flag).
3. Optional POS profile override: profile code plus capability enable/disable lists (adds/removes capabilities on top of branch/tenant profile).
4. Save → Terminal saved. / Terminal POS profile saved.

Result

Frontline devices pick up the new configuration on next bootstrap/refresh. Deactivated terminals refuse new sales.
