Edit a POS reason code

Goal

Retire, renumber sort order, or change note/approval flags on an existing reason.

Who it is for

pos.admin.configure_register.

Steps

1. Open the reason from the list.
2. Update name, flags, sort order, or deactivate (is_active false) so it stops being offered.
3. Changing context or code must still respect uniqueness.
4. Save.

Result

Frontline pickers refresh to the active set. Historical sales keep the reason they stored at the time.
