Commerce (merchant and storefront)
Goal
Orient staff to the Commerce satellite: the Merchant Dashboard (operate stores) and storefront operations (keep the public shop selling) — distinct from ERP Trade documents (sales invoices, POs) inside BlueMatrix.
Who it is for
Store managers and tenant admins with Commerce permissions (commerce.view, commerce.manage, commerce.orders.manage, commerce.publish, …) and module commerce_platform. Shoppers use the public storefront; they are not Merchant Dashboard users.
Two surfaces

Open the Merchant Dashboard from BlueMatrix via Trade → Commerce dashboard (external link; needs commerce.open_dashboard / commerce access). Catalog sync with BlueMatrix uses Trade → Catalog sync in the staff app when connected.
Operating modes
- BlueMatrix-connected (
bos_connected) — catalog, pricing, stock, and orders sync with BlueMatrix; sign in with BlueMatrix staff credentials; listings publish BOS items online. - Standalone — Commerce-owned products and merchant accounts; no BOS listing sync / BlueMatrix sync nav.
