Price list setup

Goal

Configure how price lists are chosen, how groups attach to new customers, and tax/rounding for list prices.

Who it is for

Tenant admin with pricing.admin (viewers with pricing.view can open read-only).

Preconditions

• Module pricing_promotions enabled.
• Ideally at least one Default price list and optional price groups.

Steps

1. Open Directory → Products → Pricing setup.
2. On Options → Price lists & groups:
   • Price list precedence — Explicit → customer group → default (or the other two policies).
   • Default customer price group and Assign default price group when creating customers.
3. On Quotes: choose Quote price lock on convert — Keep quoted prices / Re-resolve prices on convert.
4. On Tax & rounding: Price rounding decimals and List prices are tax-inclusive (stored on tenant pricing policy).
5. Optionally maintain Promo types and Price list roles catalogs on the side nav.
6. Save (needs pricing.admin).

Result

New price resolution and customer-create defaults follow these options. List CRUD itself stays on Price lists.
