Understand tax jurisdictions — countries, states, and regions your tenant operates in — as the geography layer for tax determination.

Tax / finance staff with tax.view / tax.manage. Module statutory_compliance.
How jurisdictions fit tax
- Create jurisdictions with a unique code, translatable name, optional ISO country (2 letters), level (
country/state/region), and optional region label. - Tax determination rules reference a jurisdiction and resolve tax code + treatment.
- Tax exemptions override matching determination; they do not replace maintaining jurisdictions.
- Statutory reports and returns use the same compliance module family.
