Edit a work center

Goal

Update rates, name, or active flag on an existing work center.

Who it is for

manufacturing.manage.

Preconditions

• Work center exists; manufacturing module on.

Steps

1. Open Work centers and choose Edit on a row.
2. Adjust Name, rates, or Active.
3. Save.

Result

New rates apply to future operation applications on work orders (existing WIP costs already posted are not rewritten).

Hard stops

• No delete API — turn Active off to retire a center from new routings.
