Workforce Planning

Goal

Plan headcount scenarios and track plan status from draft through approval to closed.

Who it is for

Workforce planners (workforce_planning.view / .manage), admins (workforce_planning.admin).

Preconditions

• Module workforce_planning enabled.
• Scenario types configured in Workforce Planning setup.
• Org structure / recruiting context helpful but not strictly required.

Steps

1. Open HR & Time → Workforce Planning.
2. Create a headcount plan with scenario type and target counts.
3. Move plan status: draft → approved → closed as your process requires.
4. Align approved plans with Recruiting & Talent requisitions.
5. Admins maintain scenario types under setup.

Result

Approved plans guide hiring demand without changing live employee records until recruiting/hire runs.
